Laney is doing well but still having breathing issues. She was getting closer to coming home but her episode last night put her back a bit. We're not sure what the timeframe is right now.

Laney is over 5 pounds!

Welcome Home Bryce!
We made it home by about 2:00 on Sunday! We introduced Bryce to Maddie and gave him the tour of the house. Maddie was a little curious...and not too excited about her new friend. :)

Rooming In
Friday morning they told us that Bryce would be coming home on Sunday! That meant that Saturday night we would be "rooming in"...staying the night at the hospital with Bryce in our room. We were responsible for taking care of him but the nurse checked in at every feeding and was right there if we needed to call with questions. The night went well and we didn't have to call once! Kevin took the 11 pm, 5 am and 11 am feedings. I had the 8 pm, 2 am and 8 am.
Of course Laney and Bryce had to say bye for a while. It was sweet when the nurse put them next to each other right before we took him. The touched hands and looked at each other...and I couldn't help but cry a little!
Bryce holds his own pacifier sometimes!

Laney in her bouncy seat!
The nurses are thinking that sitting up will help with her reflux. This should hopefully help with the breathing issues too. :)
Bryce may be coming home soon!
Bryce is doing so well with his eating and breathing that he may be coming home as early as this weekend! Laney still has a ways to go...

Guess who's eating from a bottle...
Both Bryce and Laney! Today was Bryce's second bottle and Laney's first. They did great! They have to be able to take 8 bottles a day to come home (which will take several weeks).

Actually she was 4 pounds on April 12th. She had a rough few days with her breathing and we just got some new pictures! She's doing much better now!
