At the lake...

We went to Illinois to visit my Grandma this summer! While we were there we took Bryce and Laney to Lake Michigan. Bryce loved the sand and the water. Laney took some convincing!

Summer School!

Kevin's summer school drama classes did a great job with "Goldilocks and the Many Bears"! I still don't know how he gets first and second graders to put on a play with such a short time for practice!

4th of July

On the 4th of July we took Bryce and Laney to the Playhouses/Maze in Allen! They had so much fun running around...especially in the maze. Then we went for ice cream!

I'm so behind!! Anyway, we all had fun getting together to celebrate the Dad's!

We got Matt balloons to celebrate him passing his big Electrician test!!! Congratulations, Matt!

Mother's Day Out!

Recently Bryce & Laney started Mother's Day Out at a church near our house! They're just going one day a week for now. I was very nervous about how it would go but they've done GREAT!!! We had fun shopping for backpacks, lunch bags and the required tennis shoes. :) Here they are on the first day...

I tried to take them outside for a picture together before we left. Bryce wanted nothing to do with his backpack or a picture. Laney wanted to carry her backpack but it was too heavy for her and she couldn't stand up!! This was the best I got in between her falling down! She was not too happy that I had to carry it for her. :)
