Last day of school!

Getting ready for the last day of school (back in May)! I've been meaning to post these for a while now! :)

ACE

I'm happy to say that Laney has officially moved in the ACE (After the Cancer Experience) program at Children's!! (It provides long-term monitoring for survivors of childhood cancer and health promotion.) We're still following up with scans/sonograms to be sure nothing new pops up. But, the new doctors focus mostly on long term issues due to chemo and specific things Laney needs to do to stay healthy. Our first step is a hearing test in a few weeks.

When I look at this happy, healthy 3 1/2 year old I can hardly believe that she was a very sick 9 month old that had to go through so much. To say that we're extremely thankful is just an understatement. There are no words.

Brunch!

Swimming Lessons!

I wasn't sure how the first swimming lessons would go.... But they went great! No tears at all. Actually they loved it and we'll be signing up again sometime soon!
